Development of National REDD Strategy is a continuous process involving series of consultations, stakeholders engagement, research and knowledge dissemination. The first REDD stakeholders workshop held in Kibaha in January 2009 developed National REDD Framework which will guide the formulation of National REDD Strategy. The public is strongly encouraged to comment on the draft to ensure maximum stakeholders engagement in the REDD Strategy development process.
